Chômu Press was founded in 2010 with the mission of making the work of collectible modern authors accessible to a wider audience, of discovering new authors unlikely to be picked up by the mainstream publishing world, and of exploring the boundaries of imaginative fiction.
In 2012 they were awarded the PS Publishing Independent Press Award. Crandolin, by Anna Tambour, published by Chômu that year, was shortlisted for the World Fantasy Award in the novel category.
